Corporate Charitable Contributions & Grants Overview 
The Hershey Company proudly supports a wide range of initiatives in several key focus to advance positive impact.  

Thriving Communities:  
We support the communities where our employees live and work by collaborating with nonprofits on the following topics: 

• Civic, Cultural, & Community Development: Projects that bring community members together, foster diversity & inclusion, and enhance quality of life for everyone. This may include civic, arts and cultural programs; community revitalization efforts that make our communities more livable, attractive, and sustainable; and other innovations that strengthen communities.
• Basic Needs & Disaster Relief: Programs that provide access to basic health care, shelter and housing, hunger relief, and other critical services for our communities’ most vulnerable populations, as well as those facing disaster circumstances.
• Future Workforce: Education and workforce development programs to help prepare future generations for careers in business, STEM, and manufacturing. We prioritize contributions to organizations with proven K-12 programs, community colleges and technical schools.

Funding Process & Requirements

All requests for support are reviewed on a rolling basis each month.  

Requests must support communities within 25 miles of a Hershey Company corporate office or manufacturing facility.

 All applications must be submitted electronically. Grants and contributions are typically awarded for a one-year period. Should your organization have multiple programs or events for which you'd like to request Hershey’s support, we encourage you to please bundle them in a single annual request to reduce administrative burdens.  

Receiving support from The Hershey Company does not guarantee funding in future years.  
Awards are made on a competitive basis and must align with our philanthropic support focus areas described above, our Corpoate Contribution Guidelines.pdf, and our Values and Strategic Philanthropy Principles.pdf approach.

We recognize that there are more worthy community initiatives that we can fund. Due to the volume of requests we receive, support for local youth sports teams or clubs is limited to no more than $250 per team per year.
